The heat will take its toll on Small engines. here is a few maintenances
you can perform to protect your engine.

• Check oil level before each use and remember to change the oil mid season
  to avoid premature engine wear.
   

• Check and clean your air filter. Cotton and contaminates can
  fill the filter and cause poor operation.
   

• Always look down and behind before and while backing. Always back up
  slowly if you have to operate in reverse.
  

• Thoroughly inspect area where equipment is to be used. Remove objects that
  could be picked up and thrown by blades. Thrown objects can cause serious injury.
